With the tenth anniversary of the first iPhone ever made, we look back at the effect it had not only on technology, but society in general. People continue every year to get their hands on the new Iphone nearly as soon as it is introduced. Consumers want what is new, and they want the new additions and new perks the new phone offers. People now look at the iPhone and in many ways feel like it is wearing out its welcome. Others however love waiting for the new additions the iPhone makes on a year to year basis.

People feel that the iPhone revolutionized technology into a way that we had never seen before; the first smartphone ever made.  People were amazed with the features and qualities it had. However ten years later, people are used to it, and there doesn’t seem to be anything too innovative that isn’t already available on competitor phones. Apple is trying to be at the top of their game as they try to find new and more innovative ways to make people want the iPhone.

Many people who own the up to date iPhone 7 say that there is room for improvement. This just begs the question of whether Apple iPhones will move swiftly with the future or quickly burnout and become a thing of the past.

Edward Zarndt, who owns his fair share of Apple products and also owns the new iPhone 7, says that with any product popularity is going to rise and fall. With the Iphone it is about keeping consumers satisfied, and making the necessary improvements year to year to make the product better.

“Yes there is always room for improvement, Apple is starting to listen to the consumer more with it’s larger screens and getting rid of the 16 GB storage option. Other improvemnts they can make are a better camera.” said Zardnt

With the Iphone, Apple is doing whatever it takes to make the consumers happy and keep the company to continue growing. However, when a new Iphone comes out some people tend to look for the brand new feature that has not been seen before.

“ When a new Iphone comes out, I tend to look for the killer feature, which really hasn’t been present since the Iphone 4 with the introduction of Siri.” said Zardnt

If Apple wants to remain at the top of their game, they need to kepp finding ways to be creative and innovative when it comes to the Iphone, before it becomes a thing of the past.
