On December 9th, “La La Land” was released in theaters all over the US. A romantic drama taking place in modern Los Angeles, an aspiring actress Mia (played by Emma Stone) meets Sebastian, (played by Ryan Gosling) a jazz musician.

The duo face everyday life, as well as struggling to make ends meet in the city of show business. The soundtrack includes many emotional songs including “Another Day of Sun,” “City of Stars,” and “Fools Who Dream”.

The movie has an uplifting theme of never giving up on your dreams for which won it many awards including 6 Golden Globe awards.

Morgan Andrade, junior, says  “La La Land most definitely deserves the praise. There aren’t movies out right now that are like this.”
