This test helps the students see how they are in grammar, speaking, and listening. This test is also looked at by colleges which then helps Max and Andrew looked at for scholarships. Both Max and Andrew plan on continuing their study of Chinese in the future.
Max Perez is an East Chicago native who attended St. Thomas More School in Munster. Andrew Galgan is a resident of Calumet City, IL; Andrew attended St. John the Baptist in Whiting. Not only do these students focus on sports, but they also help out their community and play sports.
Even with their extra curricular activities, both of these students are able to keep their GPA at a pristine level. Both Max and Andrew have hopes to be placed in the Chinese Honors Society next year.
“Although Chinese seems very hard, I find learning it very easy,” Max said. “I feel that it’s really easy to pick up on and memorize with the right work ethic and attitude.”
