Senior, Abigail Wojtaszek, is representing Bishop Noll Institute for the Lilly Scholarship. The Lilly Scholarship covers tuition and additional fees at any Indiana college or university.

Over her four years at Bishop Noll, Wojtaszekhas cultivated a multitude of activities to add to her resume. She is NHS President, Drama Club President, Founder and President of Environmental Club, member of Student Ambassadors, Women’s Empowerment Club, and Campus Ministry.

Wojtaszek plans on double-majoring in musical theatre and political science at either St. Mary’s College in Indiana or Georgetown University in D.C. Her love for theatre and political science came about from Mrs. Kayla Konkle, theatre teacher, and Mr. Ryan Julian, social studies teacher—both of whom she likes to refer to as her in-school parents.

As for the Lilly Scholarship, Wojtaszek, had an interview with a panel of Lilly representatives via Zoom on Oct. 8.

“I was so nervous about what the topic of conversation would be for the interview and since I had no clue, the only thing I could do was reread my statements I wrote for the initial application,” Wojtaszek said.

Out of the eighteen students in the running, the chosen student to receive the Lilly Scholarship will be announced mid-December.
