Friday, September 6 kicked off Friday Night Lights. The First football home game of the year was against Chicago Quest. 

    Bishop Noll’s theme was Neon. The fan section Twitter announced the theme in advance to let students know and be prepared with their brights outfits. The main lobby entrance window displayed an advertisement artwork drawn by students featuring neon colors stating the game’s theme. 

    The game was filled with neon yellow, green, pink, and orange. The student section showcased and array of colors and smiles, as they cheered the team on. 

    Bishop Noll beat Chicago Quest, ending the night with a score of 32-18. 

    Senior Chris Valdez recalls the night, “It was our first home game and it felt great to look out and see a bright crowd full of neon colors. What was better was that we won and it was a great way to kick I off the season!”
