After five years as principal, Mrs. Colleen McCoy-Cejka, announced her resignation on April 10. will be departing from the Bishop Noll family, by the end of this year. By the next school year, Bishop Noll Institute will have a new Principal. However, at this time, there is little to no information about who this new Principal will be.
Mrs. McCoy-Cejka will be moving forward. She, along with her family, is moving to the arid state of Arizona, where she has been appointed to the role of Assistant Superintendent of the Diocese of Phoenix. She will be dealing with the curriculum of this diocese, which contains six high schools and twenty-six elementary schools. A very prestigious title, indeed!
While the idea of being Assistant Superintendent in another state may seem daunting to most, Mrs. McCoy-Cejka has no fear. “My family and I have been constantly relocating across the country for some time, so I’m not worried at the slightest,” claimed Mrs. McCoy-Cejka.
The faculty, staff, and all of the students would like to bode a happy farewell to Mrs. McCoy-Cejka, who has been a great principal and role model to the students. We wish that her and her family make a successful transition from northwest Indiana to Arizona and we all wish her the best of luck in her career.
