This past year has been filled with many great changes for our school, from redesigned rooms to new rules to enhance our Catholic education. However, possibly one of the most notable changes is the increase in the number of both freshmen and transfers. Mr. Drew Trost, Vice Principal, is extremely optimistic about Noll’s growing community.
“This year, we had 25 transfers, and 4 this semester alone,” said Trost.
According to Trost, there was an amazing total of 209 testers for freshman admission this year. This year’s number affirms the steady increase in freshman; last year, there were 177 testers, and in 2010, there were only 155. It is obvious that Bishop Noll has become a more dominant school over the past few years.
“[Next year,] we will start a waiting list at 160. We hope to get 160 excellent new students,” said Trost. By next year, it is estimated that the total enrollment of students will be just about 500.
The school has been working extremely hard in order to bring in more students.
“Changes such as our remodeling, schedule, curriculum, technology, and classroom have created an exciting buzz about our school, as well as added marketing strategies,” said Trost. Advancing Noll’s scope is a great way to spread the word about the excellent teachers, staff, and BNI family. As the years progress, Bishop Noll will surely continue to prosper.
