Recently the Philadelphia 76ers have been making headlines for all the wrong reasons.  They have been blown out by teams and are currently losers of nine straight.  But this week they made news by signing Kevin Grow to a 2 day deal.  Kevin Grow is a mentally challenged student who attends Bensalem High School.

Grow recently became an internet sensation by scoring 14 points and even a buzzer beater in his teams last two games.  The 76ers made him feel a part of the team by letting him come out of the locker and letting hangout with the team.  Sports have done great things for people and this might be up there as was one the greatest.  This was one of the stories of the year for sports and definitely the story of the year for the struggling 76ers.
