Bishop Noll welcomes new athletic director Mrs. Cynthia “Cindy” Wilson, who was previously working as an interim athletic director for East Chicago Central. Wilson has always had a passion for sports. Her professional goal was to achieve the position of athletic director.

Wilson has been coaching for over 20 years. She started coaching after graduating from college, coaching both middle school and high school volleyball. In addition, she also has experience coaching softball and basketball. Wilson credits her organizational skills to having an instrumental part in preparing and hosting the IHSAA tournaments for many sports. This past year, she had the chance to host the IHSAA wrestling semi-state tournament at E.C. Central.

“Having contact with student athletes and having a positive impact in their lives has alway been my motivation,” Wilson says.

Wilson says her goals here at Bishop Noll are to establish and grow meaningful relationships with the coaches, students and parents within the school community. She is also looking into trying to renovate the weight room and bring in updated equipment.

“Bishop Noll has always had a great tradition in academic and athletic success and I wanted to be part of the process,” says Wilson.
