If you play fantasy football, like corny jokes and messing with your friends, then the show The League is the perfect show for you.

 The show first aired in 2009 and is now in it’s 7th and final season. When the show first started, the main characters Pete (Mark Duplass), Kevin (Stephen Rannazzisi, Ruxin (Nick Kroll), Andre (Paul Scheer), Taco (Jon Lajoie) and Jenny (Katie Aselton) were already four years deep into a fantasy football league, with Pete already being league champion three times and Taco, one.  Set in Chicago, the show follows the characters’ friendship since high school and their crush on a girl named Shiva, for whom they named their league trophy after.

 Also, plenty of NFL players and analysts like Adrian Peterson, JJ Watt and Matthew Berry have appeared on the show.  They have met Mark Cuban, Jerry Jones and have gone to the NFL Draft.  

This final season follows the gang for one last time as they vie for the Shiva Bowl. Watch The League on FXX on Wednesdays at 10.
